Hey Riders,

there's A TON GOING ON THIS MONTH!!! Monthly Ride Saturday May 5th...May Ride Pre-Run is now Saturday May 12th...10th Annual May Ride on Saturday May 19th!!! May Ride is the biggie.

Saturday May 5th: Part 1; 2nd Annual Blessing of the Bikes...and then Part 2 on May 5th; 14th Annual Veteran Benefit.

Part 1: Meet up at Coffee Corner (9608 Carlton Hills Blvd), in Santee from 8:15-9am and we'll ride to SD Harley (5600 Kearny Mesa Rd. SD), at 9:15am. Kickstands up at 9:45am. We'll ride to Mt. Soledad (approximate arrival time at 10am). We'll get our bikes blessed and if you've never seen the view from Mt. Soledad, It's incredible. We'll stay for about 45 minutes or so and hopefully, they'll bless the bikes by that time. Then...

Part 2: We'll head to the Alpine VFW for the Rough Riders MC-14th Annual Benefit and Poker Walk. That's a really great group of folks and it's a really nice view off the back patio, which faces the Western portion of the valley. They'll have live music, vendors, food and some other things going on. (Alpine VFW, 844 Tavern Rd. I-8 East to Tavern Rd and follow Rough Rider Signs.)

Saturday May 12th: The Pre-May Ride Run.

This will be for anyone that would like to ride the route for the May Ride, before the actual event on May 19th. This is great for volunteers and vendors that cannot ride on the day of the May Ride. It's also cool because Biggs Harley Davidson is going to grill some Polish Dogs and hamburgers for us after we complete the route.

We will meet at Coffee Corner in Santee between 8-8:30am and ride up to Biggs Harley Davidson in San Marcos,(1040 Los Vallecitos #113, San Marcos), to start the May Ride route. It should only take an hour and a half to two hours, and then we'll return to Biggs to eat.

Saturday May 19th: THE 10th ANNUAL MAY RIDE AND AFTER PARTY FOR OUR TROOPS!!!

I'm just going to say that if you have not been to this event, it's going to be awesome!!! Vendors, drag bike burnouts, Babes and bikes, live music, Charger's Center Nick Hardwick and Pro Wrestler Chuck Palumbo, will be there. Tons of prizes and food and much more. Hope to see you there!!!
