Hey Riders,

Our next meet up is going to be on THURSDAY JULY 4th, instead of Sunday. This ride is really fun because not only does it take us up to Julian, but I reserve the patio at the Julian Grille so we can watch the parade on July 4th.

It's also great because we all get back to our July 4th BBQ/fireworks, etc... with time to spare. I'll be at Coffee Corner in Santee from 8:15-8:45am, (that should put us in Julian at about 10-10:15am).  We'll head up the 67 freeway and park in the upper lot, about a block from the Julian Grille. It's usually 5 bucks per parking space but they've been very kind over the past few years, by allowing us to park 3 to 4 bikes per spot. No guarantees but we'll do our best to make it happen. We sit on the patio at the Julian Grille and eat lunch. The parade starts at about Noon and it's usually about 45 minutes to an hour long. It really makes you feel like you've stepped back to the 1950's, because of the small town atmosphere.

Once the parade is over, we all go our separate ways and have a happy 4th.

Just to give you a timeline, I'm usually home about 3-3:30pm.

Bring water because this ride can be a hot one!

Anyone that wants to, can follow me out through the Cuyamaca's and back to San Diego, via the 8 freeway.
