A Message from Coe
To all of the unsung heroes who help out on their own that I am not aware of... I want to make sure you know how much I appreciate you and KGB appreciates you and your kindness. Thank you for helping a fellow listener and human being out there in a most difficult time. You are a real hero. And don't forget the animals caught in this crossfire. Please go to your local shelters and adopt if you can.
Hey friends...with your purchase of a "I'm a Coe's List Hero" shirt (made by our great friends at JAMES GANG PRINTING)...your tax deductible $20 donation goes right into Coe's List which directly helps San Diegans and animals in need. The needs are endless and I can't do it without you. Please send your check payable to:

I have worked in a variety of fields. My first job was delivering newspapers. I then worked as a cashier at a bookstore and worked in a fast food sandwich restaurant. I was promoted to shift leader in a smoothie shop. I then worked in the retirement community as a server for the dining room and then on to do activities and I did some storeroom work as well. Lastly, I worked at another retirement home as a Class B driver while doing the activities and front desk responsibilities.
I have a Class B License to drive a Bus/Van with limit of up to 15 passengers. I have a background on how to use a hydraulic lift and wheelchair transferring and tying them down.

Gateway Gardens - Poway, CA
Was a driver at the Gateway Gardens for 10 years. Was trained how to transfer the elderly to and from appointments and to shopping trips and different events around town. Probably drove close to 75,000 miles. I also have a background in hydraulic lifts and wheelchair tiedowns.
Also did the Activities there when I wasn’t driving. This is when I got to interact with the residents and family members on a daily basis. And I hope to continue to interact with more people in my future endeavors. I also scheduled many different activities and events throughout the months when needed.
