I am your girlfriend Coe Lewis and I am what you call "a true
rocker girl". Born in Texas. and raised all over the world in places
like Ethiopia, Lebanon, Spain and Belgium. I am the youngest of three
very tall blondes!
I first started at KGB in 1987 and worked all different day parts, I was the Music Director and the Assistant Program Director. I left for a couple of years in the mid 90's, and returned in 1995. I have been here in some capacity for about 20 years. My first love and one true love is KGB. I went on to sell real estate a few years ago, and I still do..but came back to plug in the headphones again. You guys just can't get rid of me!!
Someone told me the other day that I have been on the radio longer than any other female in San Diego! Wow, now I feel REALLY old. Amazing since I am only 28! But you know what...I just love what I do, playing the best music ever for the best listeners ever.
KGB has allowed me to work with the best artists in the world. I have interviewed everyone from the Stones to Van Halen. And anyone who knows me knows that my favorite band in the world is Led Zeppelin. I always say..."when I kick, bury me with my Zeppelin CDs". That band along with the Beatles got me into radio. My love for their music was so strong and deep, I knew this was my calling.

My name is Jeff Johnson a 53 year old SAN DIEGO RES. GROW UP ON K G B Here is my problem after
having a heart attack in 2008 I have not returned to work due to health issues and or un able to find
work. since then I lost my health insurance and currently without. I have applied for Medi-cal they
turned me down even though my Dr.s say I am. I have been in the hosp. 2 X this year had gall bladder removed in feb. then 1 week later had 9'' of intestine removed. I suffer from Chrons diesease
and ulcerative colit... doc. wants me on med that is 300.00 per infusion. 3 in the first 6 weeks
then 1 every 6 weeks there after. The Doc. is able to get the meds. for Free but I have to pay the
$300.00 infusion fee at the doc. office. being on state disab. and soon to run out . im getting desp.
with nowhere to turn. im no 1 to ask for or need to have help. with out the meds. I could end up
in the hosp. again and since Iv been there 4 x in the past im not looking forword to that. So any help

Please help. I have a friend who is going to be homeless in 7 days if she does not find a place. The issue is not finance, it is time. She gave notice thinking a month would be long enough to find a new place.
It was not and now her and her daughter won't have a home on June 1st.
She wants to rent/lease to own, but she will take what she can get at this point.
She needs a house in East county, preferabbly Lakeside. At least 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a fenced yard for 2 dogs.

So, since having moved back to O'side I am still driving up to the Murrieta area for work and school. I will be finishing school in a few weeks and will no longer be making the drive for school, and will be leaving work too. I would really like to find a small, local business that I could work for doing bookkeeping. I have over 10 years experience running an office, and have heavy automotive and construction experience. Duties have included have included A/R, A/P, payroll w/ taxes, sales and use tax, worker's comp, benefits administration, etc. I would really like to find a family run, casual business that I can work my school schedule with, and that will allow me a little flexibility.

He is finding most employers are looking for younger hires. He is a young at heart 59 year old who just wants to work. To make things worse. Its Ron Law. I spoke to you the other day regarding the death of a
lady on highway 5, who is the mother of a good friend of my wife and I. Our friends name is Tracey Martinez and her mothers name was Phyllis Kirk. Phyllis was clipped from the rear by a taxi cab driver while traveling on highway 5. The vehicle she was in was our friend Tracey's and her mother was killed instantly when it rolled as a result of the impact. It might seem minimal in comparison to losing your mother, but Tracey also lost her car in that accident. Now she has no Mom and no means of transportation. If anyone is able to help Tracey Martinez through this difficult time, please find it in your heart to do so.

Hi Coe i am asking for help please. I am 52 years old, now single 2 boys 16 and 22 both at home. I have a job with the county. My financial situation has changed to just me the only provider. I have NO money cannot pay my bills. I have been forced to file bankruptcy, but the thing is i can't even afford to file. I can only pay a small amount each month which will take forever, i am afraid they will start to garnish my wages. Anything would help, it cost 1400 i can pay 25 or 75 here and there. I am desperately trying to make it in life. I have no money for anything. I am a good mom trying to get on the right track but desperately trying to make it. Just trying to survive nothing extra. My friend Teresa is in need of some help. She was an abused wife and mother of 4 girls. She finally gained enough courage to file for divorce so that she could set a good example for her children and to hopefully end that cycle of violence. The husband has done everything in his power to try and make her homeless and to keep her wrapped up in divorce fees. It has been very difficult for her financially and she could use some help.
Teresa has got her real estate license and works for Century 21 out of the Murrieta/Temecula area. I know that she works with one or two asset managers dealing with bank foreclosures, but they only give her one listing at a time right now and that really doesn't bring in steady income.

Listener Annette is checking in for two reasons. First, her deaf cousin had her van stolen and it was equipped for her wheelchair bound son. He is still paying on the note for it...he lost his ability to be a pool guy..a job he has had for 9 years. He is going to have to file BK because the bills keep piliing up... but Tammy is trying to support the both of them on $9.50 and hour and they are just drowning. Her parents have loaned him a car at a reasonable rate, but still.....they aren't making it. He got a $9/hr a job at Target. My name is Robert and I have been out of work since April 2008, having had little success in my job search. To make things more complicated my wife left me back in November, so I now find myself creating a new path for myself. I am currently looking to change careers, and would like to become a trainer/organizational developer or corporate coach for an organization. My background includes 8 years in the wireless industry, 5 years as a project coordinator, over 10 years of retail experience, and 2 years as a purchaser. I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, and am currently going through SDSU’s Extended Studies, Coaching For Organizational Excellence program. My long-term goal is to go back and get my doctorate in Clinical Psychology or Behavioral Science, which would complement my coaching dream.

The Morris Story and our
Charlie was a happy healthy 18 month old having a wonderful time celebrating the 4th of July at a pool party. He was having a great time with his big brother Blake, and all his family playing, swimming and just generally having a fun day. The next morning when Charlie's dad Brian, went in to wake him up, Charlie wouldn't wake up. They got him to Children's Hospital and a month later he was transferred to Balboa Navy Hospital

I along with many of your listeners, am having to take advantage of our unemployment benefits after doing all the right thigs: college graduation, teaching credential, teaching in public schools, going back to school to get a special ed teaching credential... It's been not only a blessing to my daughters and myself but at times can be a really agravating experience to jump through hoops, fill out forms and FIND A REAL PERSON TO TALK TO AT EDD IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION.
So let me pass this on to your listners - a way to get through and talk to a real live person...
Yes, it has worked for me on two different occasions!!
Here is the process I followed. First of all, when you call the 800 line, you will hear the normal voice discussing changes, how to apply online, etc.. If you continue to call, you will, at one point, hear a different voice on the recording (much deeper female voice) – THIS is when you type in 12117 (the minute you hear her voice). Now, I did this a few times and it still told me that too many folks were waiting to be helped and I should try back later (this happened about 10 times). Finally, I typed in the code and the recording said the wait time would be 4 minutes…………….I just about fainted!!! Sure enough, I was put in touch with someone and they answered my question about some temp teaching assisgnments and if this would upset my benefits when the job was over in June.
Remember, you need to type in the code when you hear the other voice recording, not the peppy female voice, but the deeper one. It will take some serious work, but YOU will get through. Just for those wondering, I started calling at 10:30 today and got through at 10:40.!!
I works folks, just takes time. I know the system is not set up the most optimal way, but I hope you will not lose faith. I know some of you are really struggling and my prayers go out for you.

Found out this past weekend when I took my Mother-in-law to the American Indian Health Center to pick up her partial (fake teeth but not a whole denture) that they take non-natives now. Has a full dental/medical clinic that is based on what you earn or who your insurance carrier is. Like on a sliding scale. My middle adult son has received free medical treatment there twice, basically an unemployed student. Not sure if it'll help this person or not but maybe some of your other listeners.
