Need a Ruler Real Quick? Use Your Monitor.

Today I discovered a web page that displays a 12″ ruler accurately, regardless of screen size. It’s at iruler.net. I use an early model 22″ Acer monitor that actually is set for 20″ pixel display. This did throw off the software a bit. Not to worry, I entered the aspect ratio I’m using and the on-screen ruler corrected. So of course I HAD to measure it against an actual tape measure. PERFECT. So if you ever need to check something real fast without running to the garage or if you can’t find a ruler or tape measure, this is a great perfectly accurate on-screen option. I also use Smart Ruler (free) app on my smart phone.
