Item #1  Swype It!

If you don’t have Swype on your smart phone, you’re not as fast as you could be.  Swype is free and the new Swype is in beta(although I haven’t had one glitch in four months).  I really didn’t want to like it (because, come on, how good could it be), but as it turns out, that’s the only way I type on my phone anymore. I use it for Text, e-mail and searching. I will occasional use voice, but most of the time, I don’t like the hit and miss of voice typing, so I Swype. Item #2  SmellaVision

Ever wonder what it would be like to smell certain things that you hear about on the radio? What about foods you see on television?

There’s a company that’s already done it in Japan. It uses the chemicals inside a little device. When a certain commercial or subject is announced on the radio, it mixes those chemicals to smell like the ones you are hearing about. For instance, you hear the radio talking about the ocean…you smell the fresh ocean air.

How cool would it be to watch the cooking channel and smell that pizza or that rum cake?

Check out the link and see just how close this is to becoming a reality in our homes.

Item #3 HD for the Road

For about 15 bucks, you can connect your smart phone or tablet (check link for sync capabilities), to a big screen tv or projector. You can watch videos, pictures or connect online to view a movie from your portable device.

Yes there are wi-fi options like this but how easy is it to hook it up with a hardline to your television. Think about camping in an rv or in a hotel that has a connection on the back.

DVDO Mobile is compatible with any MHL-enabled smart phone or tablet, such as Samsung’s Galaxy S II or the HTC EVO 3D. It features an integrated 20-inch USB-A connector, an 8-inch micro-USB connector with a 46-inch total span that recoils with wrap-and-hide cable management, and a 36-inch HDMI connector to link to a compatible HDTV or projector

This is great for people who travel…
