With TriggerTrap of Course.

TriggerTrap is a device and App that uses your smart phone to trigger your camera to snap a photo. It can do that on a timer, using motion sensing, using a light trigger etc. You buy a Dongle for your specific camera, get the app on your smart phone and in just a few minutes you’re up and running. It’s so simple even a Radio DJ (Clint) can do it. The hardware is $29.00 and the app is free.

This is a post from The TriggerTrap website….

If you’ve ever found yourself outdoors, taking photos at night, wishing you were able to give the sky a bit of a ‘kicker’, before giggling at the ludicrousness of that idea, feast your eyes on this photo taken by ‘deuler_b’ on Flickr, posted to our Triggertrap Flickr pool. (click this link to see the photo)
The photographer used a Triggertrap v1, set to ‘ambient light’ mode, and pointed it at the sky during a thunder storm. When the Triggertrap registered a lightning strike, it triggered the camera, creating this absolutely magnificent night-time photo, with the sky lit up by the lightning.
Pretty awesome, don’t you think?!
Thanks for sharing — And we look forward to seeing more magnificent photos from you all in the Flickr group!
