KGB Chili Cookoff and Microbrew Festival 2009
KGB is looking for San Diego's best chili chef in the second annual 101.5 KGB Chili Cookoff and Microbrew Festival! We're taking over the Lakeside Rodeo Grounds on Saturday November 7th. Dave, Shelly and Chainsaw will broadcast live, we'll have rides for the kids, beer for the adults and plenty of food, drinks and fun for everyone.
Think you've got a chili recipe that will blow everyone away? Enter now to compete in the chili cookoff, cause spots are gonna go fast. The entry fee is only $50 and first place takes home $2,000! Plus, you can win prizes for showmanship and the peoples' favorite chili. Hurry, the deadline to enter is Wednesday, November 4th at Noon!

- Important Note: Due to the increased required amount of chili to be cooked on site, you are allowed to pre-cut your meat and pre-soak your beans. Please make sure you bring all original packaging and receipts with you the day of the event for these items. Meat will be inspected before cooking begins. No marinating, no pre-seasoning will be allowed.
