Control Your Phone's Camera From Your Watch

Tech Tuesday With Clint August and MySmartPhoneStuff

Your Watch is Now From The Future

If you have one of the new Android Wear smart watches you can now take a selfie from 20 feet away. Google has updated its camera app, allowing it to be controlled by a  smartwatch running Android Wear. Version 2.3 of the app adds the ability for Android Wear watches to remotely control the camera app’s shutter function. So you can set the phone down, step away and using your watch, snap a photo from the phone’s camera. If you would like a mount for your smart phone to take better remote photos, check out this one from Amazon. It’s only $12.95 and for some reason mine came with free next day shipping.
